After Cutting the stone I took it to GRS . They only claim it to be Curpian Elbaite and not Paraiba they said Paraibas are not of these colors. Only greenish Blue.
Can somebody please tell me what kind of stone this is paraiba or cuprian.

It appears that this is simply an issue of nomenclature.
Many labs refer to all copper bearing elbaite as "paraiba" regardless of locality, apparently GRS does not.
Dear easywaygems, regarding "Paraiba", different labs might have different opinions and policies. Some major labs are trying to harmonize their policies and have issue the following worksheet:
Now as the different labs you are speaking about are not member of this group, they might have a different opinion regarding this issue and the only way to find out is probably to ask directly to these labs or to submit the stone to them...
People in this forum might be able to give you their opinion about what they believe this or that lab will say but at the end it will remain speculations. If you want to know for sure: why don't you ask them directly or why don't you submit the stone to them?

Dear easywaygems,
Thank you for your post (and your email).
I have responded to your email few days ago, regarding your question and in fact my answer was quite the same as Vincent did ... the best way to be sure of what a gem lab might says (AIGS Lab or others) is to submit directly the stone to them or show them the stone “in real”.
I would like to take the opportunity of this post to give you my opinion regarding the "identification" of a stone just from a picture or an oral description...
I learn something very early in my gemological carrier, that is to never judge or give a precise opinion of a stone from a picture or an oral description (both of those requests often happen, I am sure that I am not the only person on this forum who faced this situation ...). I used to teach to my students this too: “be wise and never give an answer to someone who asks your opinion on a gemstone only from a picture or a verbal description. Too risky, too many possibilities and so, too many mistakes. Don’t forget that, when your give your opinion, it’s a kind of engagement... “
I had never complains about this advice...
Thank you trusting AIGS Gem Laboratory

I just wrote a post about this issue on my blog that may be of interest to some of you. It is amazing how many different answers come up when the words "cuprian" or "Paraiba" are in the question!
