you can copy and paste now. but only so much of it. If you leave it too long you have to copy and paste in sections.
Best if Bart or Canuck or someone can log in using trillian or some other irc programme that logs more easily. I've given up trying to keep logs on the normal sunday chats.

That sux... I have rigged up a nice alternative here. Whiteboard, chatroom and all in one. Logable and everything and completely free.
I'll shoot Barbra a mail with the code for it, hopefully she finds the time to add it to the chat page, if not, I suggest we do it on the one I linked to above. At least Brian will be able to scribble on his whiteboard to his heart's content, add images, links and what have you not and I will be able to log the lot (including images) with one click of a button.

Barbra has put the new room in place, you can access it through the link on the left as usual. If you get the old java applet thingy, refresh your page. I'll take that example I linked to above offline.
The room loads with most of the page being the whiteboard (big empty space on the left where I scribbled the welcome but you can drag the chatbox (bottom right space) as big as you want...

I was able to attend a great deal of the chat before my back gave out on me. (Having some back issues as of late ) The new chat room is excellent. Our best yet. Thanks Tim for the great find! You should just check it out. Pics can be uploaded, it works as a chalkboard. Very impressive!
Seriously, it is a wonder anyone was able to stay until the end. I think it set a record at some 4+ hours, and I'm not sure anything of use came out of it. Hopefully Tim did log it and can make some sense of it all. BUT... the new chat space is all that and a bag of chips.

There was a ton of really good info. I have to admit whenever I start thinking too hard about wave vs. particle I get stuck in a philosophical black hole.

I have posted the contents of the chat on the Index of Previous Chats To Download directly, Click on Physics Chat: Light Wave or Particle or, if you have a compatible browser, you can read it below: [pdfview]http://gemologyonline.com/Physics_Chat_light_wave_or_particle.pdf[/pdfview]
