I am looking for a working Exacta Faceting Machine or 80 index gear for the same machine for an 86 year old cutter that would like to continue cutting with the faceting machine he is familiar. To make things more of a needle in the haystack, he is left handed and needs the machine to also be left handed.

Thank you for you help in keeping my friend cutting.

Mark

What is the outside diameter of the gear? One of existing manufacture could probably be modified, or an industrial gear could be reworked.

I know a guy who can machine index gear or dops for any machine as long as he is provided a sample. For instance if you can provide an exacta 96 gear he can make an 80 gear, etc.

They are 2 1/2 inches in diameter (63.5mm). I cut on one, but am not really in the market to sell it. And I'm left handed but use my RayTech Shaw left handed and my Exacta right handed!

Then a Polymetrics Scintillator gear can be adapted. I think the hub has a bore .75, and 2 screw mounting holes.

Index Gears (scintillator) 32, 60-3, 60-5, 64, 72, 80, 84, 88, 96, 108, 120$ 49.00 ea.

Thank you for quick response and great ideas. I would like the name and email of the person that can create new idex gears with a sample. Thank you again.
