Hello everybody!
I bought this purple star sapphire ( picture below) of 300Ct
I just want to know with could be the value of it or at least your opinion.

Regrettably, opaque stars (except jet black) arent super valuable, particulalry with pronoumced zoning and black inclusions. It is a nice example with a decent star though, so it does have some collectable value, but it probably isnt going to be anything mindblowing.

I bought it with other stones, so the price I payed for this one is more or less 1000$. Did I make a mistake?

Years ago I bought a similar stone from African dealer, I believe the weight was over 100 ct and paid $75.00 for it.
It had a great big beautiful star but the color was purplish red and opaque. I used to keep it on the corner of my desk just for show. These are fun but not rare.
