Found a huge Aquamarine for sale, never seen one in this size. Seller is asking $1.5m, what do you guys think? Cheap, fair or overpriced?
I am trying to upload a picture, let's see if it will work

^^This one is only $47,100. And has better color (although it might not be quite as big as the other).

I am guessing it would make a really good paperweight.

So what's it weigh ? I've been looking for another belly button jewel. That may be a bit too large though...hmmm, maybe if I mount it East-West ? :P

And it is a lot more wearable as well.

There have been some truly enormous aquamarine crystals found.

I'd hate to try cut and polish that monster.

Yes, this gem-grade crystal mined in the 1950's weighed 56 pounds. Others that size and larger have been found.

Maybe you could do up a wagon real pretty (gold-plated and diamond encrusted), set that aqua in it and pull it around behind you.

Diamond encrusted gold rickshaw. I like the way you think!

Summer villa on a Greek isle with a Ferrari in the garage, or a large blue rock?

Let me think about it.

ROTFLMAO!!! I don't think I would want a 1.5 mill paperweight though!!

As someone who thinks most aquamarine is an overpriced greyish blue stone that doesn't look much better than glass, I find that price tag a bit hefty. Well, it is big, that's for sure.

It is 2,226.5 carats. The stone looks very light blue but since they took the pic with the flash it might actually be a little darker.
