The question is not about the labs and others identifying LGFR/composite ruby early on, and not really about greed although it is absolutely true that greed is the gas in the engine here. My question is: How did a artificial product like composite ruby make it nearly 7 years into production and world wide distribution of millions of carats before the industry really started to question the makers label of "ruby" for this material?
