A customer brought this for valuation,

At a first glance, no. The case is marked 14K, but both the case and the chain surround would need checking with acid to see if that is accurate. The movement is quite good quality, but not of such quality as to attract much of a premium. So, if the case and surround check out as 14K, and you can find a person interested in analogue ladies watches, I would say 25% over scrap, if it doesn't check out OK, its junk.

there are sites that can tell you by the serial number when it was made.
