Glass is also solid and heavy. Hardness tests can be surprisingly difficult to interpret.

I experimented with a small part that showed high temperature and did not melt

Ahmad4, with all due respect, consider why you came to this forum for help.

I presume you came to get some expert opinions from trained, skillful and educated gemological specialists to help identify your unknown.
Right?

Well, that's what you got.

Rather than trying to prove everyone is wrong, it may be wise to accept that you have a lovely piece of blue glass because that is exactly what you have.
