I am heading to Antwerp in October and I was checking the gem equipment sellers over there online. I want to see what are the new tools for grading diamond (rough) as 80% of diamond roughs were traded thru Antwerp. Tonight I came across a seller selling a (new?) Schneider Loupe L2+. There were reports saying that L2 will show a purple tint under daylight fluorescent, which is a trade-off between a 20mm triplet with a thickness reduction from 18mm (L1) to 14mm (L2). The purple tint makes it impossible to accurately grade any color diamonds/ color stones:

Does anyone have any information regarding this L2+ loupe? I meant it is possible under this circumstances to have the L2 loupe modified? Please note: L2+ loupe was not mentioned anywhere in Mr. Harald Schneider's website.
