Anyone have any experience with or have heard anything about Goyalabs Gospectro spectrophotometer? I recently read about it but can’t seem to find a ton about the functionality and use of it. It seems interesting, and they really aren’t too terribly expensive. They claim to be functional for gemology. Fact or fiction? Self isolation has me reading most corners of the internet but I’m not succeeding with this one lol

Amazing value if it works. One big issue is that the small unit they demonstrate for gemstones only goes th 750 nm. We need 900+ nm to prove presence of copper.

Their IndiGo system goes up to 900nm, really both systems are very reasonable options for a small scale setup. I just would hate to jump the gun on something. It certainly looks promising.
