I bought this bracelet at a second hand store. It has no markings anywhere, but the details seem old vintage or antique. It was tested as 10KG with a home kit, but I am not completely sure if it's just and overlay and I can't place the time or who made it.

Any help would be so appreciated and thank you in advance for your help.

Lovely piece.

I suspect it was made in the late 1800s and reflects the Etruscan Revival made popular by Castellani. The stones appear to be garnet and a seed pearl. These stones were popular during the Mourning Period in the late 1800's after the death of Prince Consort Albert....seed pearls signified angel's tears and garnets went well with dark mourning attire.

The ancient tomb of the Triclinium at Tarquinia (dating to around 470 BCE), was discovered in 1830 and was a tremendous inspiration for Victorian artists and designers.

Ho marks, eh? possibly gold fill.

I would assume the same as far as it being gold filled, but does it change what you wrote above as far as the age? thank you again for responding. I sincerely appreciate it!
