Question:
I have this ring for retail replacement appraisal.

Really quite spectacular. It's called The Safari ring designed because both the spessartine and tsavos are East African.
Spessartite is 9.8cts, fabulous proportions and vivid orange color.

Oh right, the question! How difficult would it be to replace this garnet? Feel free to weigh in on the tsavos too.
Thanks.

First the ring looks remarkable! The colors are very fall Orange and green.
The center stone looks to be just 4 prongs, relatively an easy switch out unless the prongs are work hardened and brittle.
It looks like the tsavorites' are pears? are they set from the under gallery? bezels in a seat?
I'm in no way a highly qualified bench jeweler to lend advise here but those were just some observations I thought of on first look.

I think barbara means to buy similar stones, not take them out and set them back in the ring.

Right now it would not be too difficult to find the stones. The Spessartine in typical of Tanzanian stones with a nice bright orange, but a bit too much brown to be called Fanta colored. The production of rough of this color and size has been reasonable this year. I likely would have a suitable piece of rough in my safe, or could buy one over the phone in Tanzania within a months time.

The smaller calibrated Tsavorites are pretty much always available in the market. So, you should be able to find them as well.
