I'm confused with this inclusions, whether these are natural fingerprints or induced. The sapphire change color from purple to pink. No gas bubbles nor curve striae found since many scratches on gem surface.

The bottom two photos, those red inclusions in high relief aren't fingerprints, what is surrounding them in lower relief look like whitish, sort of coarse, thick, maybe sticky looking fingerprints (typical of flux synthetics) but I can't be sure from these photos so don't trust me. And also you won't find gas bubbles or curved striae in flux synthetics anyways. Those red inclusions remind me of orange coloured flux in Kashan or Ramaura flux synthetics (one of those I don't remember which). But without having seen more photos of the stone or having seen the stone myself I can't be totally sure. I haven't seen anything so blobby like that in natural corundum, but then again you come across all sorts in this gem business and there are many things I haven't seen. These are just my comments, don't take my word for it, it could be real as far I can tell from my computer screen. I'd like to see what other people on the forum think of this too.

Could you give me some background on the stone. Where did you get the stone from? How much you paid, where you bought it etc. That might help in determining what it is.

What's the refractive index? UV reactions?
I am seeing what appears to be curved striae to my eye.

Please post a picture of the stone from a distance, displaying both colors.

Thanks.

I'd like to get a picture of the stone less magnified, to have an idea of the general look. Possible ?
Also as Berullos said, a bit of background about the stone would be welcome.
