Post subject: | EASY way on Corundum family? |
Dear Guys, Beside using a loupe, is there any way to identify the corundum family? (synthetic, treated and real). Is it possible? I know it is not so straight forward and one have to undergo a series of test before the conclusion can be made. But for me, I am happy with a 70 ~ 80% of accuracy. Will UV-VIS-NIR, FTIR or raman show anything? Thank you. Regards, zen |
