Hi,

Nikolaus, I read your posting, very nice.
I'll try to put in some photo's of my Habach emeralds here as soon as I figure out how to do that.......(@Admin: it's possible to facilitate uploadind pictures in php, if you register in the Strahlen.org forum (on minaralogy) you can see how it works....), for the moment I'll keep on trying....

Numerous waterclear Emeralds (in fact 23 Emeralds and one Aquamarine) on Biotite shist, the biggest crystals is 1,1 x 0,8 cm.
Habach valley, 2004

Cut stone from the Habach valley, unusual good colour and clarity for the locality (there are some typical Chromite inclusions in the left corner), the weight is a little over one carat.
