Hi!

If you're ever in London take some time to visit the Victoria and Albert museum. No admission (except for special displays):D

They have a stunning blade (an Ito maki no tachi ) made in the late 14th  century by a smith named Morimitsu on display and it looks brand NEW!!!!!!

You can compare this sword to any of the 14th century European swords on display and wonder on how great smiths the japanese were at that time 8)

So much for the "lifetime warranty" for some tungsten carbide rings. Can't get in contact with the Trent West company so ..."sorry customer, we can't size your ring or replace it". "Lifetime" obviously applys to the manufacturer rather than the client.
A question: The mokume-gane bolsters on the William Henry knives we sell tends to fade with wear. Putting it away for a while allows it to oxidize again so the patterns become strong again. Does this happen with the rings? Is there some artificial way to re-oxidize the pieces so the pattern is strong and apparant again? Thanks.
