Hi Everyone,

I'm new here and have already posted a couple questions and then I realized I have not introduced myself. My name is Nadine and I live in Dallas. I recently enrolled in GIA's distance education program for the Graduate Gemologist diploma. I currently work in the IT field and have been doing that for the past 13 years. I don't have specific plans for a career change, but have not ruled it out. I'd like to find a way to work in both careers...we'll see how that goes!

I have enjoyed reading the forum posts and am glad to have found this community.

Hi

Welcome to the forum, :smt006

You have found the best forum for help !!

While im saying hi , we have a chat on sundays ( right now the teach frank is away ) but we start up again when he gets back , you can read the info on the chat section plus the old chats are still avaliable to read . Also the gemology project will help too .

Sit back and enjoy the ride , a very wise man told me

Hope the GIA answered your questions on the diplomas ?
