Well, what do we have here, lets see..
Prospector since 12 years, mostly gold. Amateur geologist since 2 years, means a lot of time spent looking around my area.
I also do both cabochon cutting and most recently started faceting with a raytech Shaw. Faceting is still quite new to me, just been doing it for.. 10 months? Takes my breath away to see some of the skilled faceters pictures here, one day maybe!
And since I'm a faceter some friends to on occasion ask for a cut stone I do like to know what it is, if it is treated etc. So a interest of gemmology does also exist, I know a bit already from previous studies.
I think some of you may know me from other lapidary forums, just look at my avatar (should be up soon) and you might recognize me.

Helton, Thanks, its an idea that still needs some fine tuning, i.e. angle wise. If for example little material is available for the crown higher angles on the pavilion should be used.
