He came to get away from the COLD! :-)
I worked with a guy from Russia who used to walk between buildings in Winter in his shirtsleeves. He used to laugh at us.

Heh, Moscow's monthly average low during their coldest month is -11c, Winnipeg's (province's Capitol) is -23c. Moscow's record low is -42.2c, Winnipeg is - 47.8c. We know cold...

Fortunately, it could be -40c outside but the skies will be clear and it will be sunny.

Warm welcome anyways :) you'll need it.

-11???? What the heck is everyone complaining about???? We regularly drop below -20 here in the winter, and -30 to -40 isn't unheard of. I nearly lost my fingers working at a full service gas station on a backshift once when I was young LOL.

I believe smuggling is not the only way to get rough out of Russia.
A wise man once told me, "In Russia, everything is forbidden, but nothing is impossible."

My post above was meant in jest, but I came home with a number of specimens on my return from Russia. I just declared them. I didn't pay anyone off. :)
