Hey there! I'm not really new to this board, I joined maybe 8/10 years ago. I'm a feisty gal from Texas, residing in Nevada, since Oct 1996. They say life happens for a reason, and I put the study of gemstones on the back burner. Things popped up with distressed family members. Later I got into quilting by accident and realized I loved it enough to open a shop. Quilting is a very calming self help therapy, and is an absolute blast for me as well as fabric marbling, finishing long arm quilting and teaching this wonderful craft to others. I'm currently expanding my skills to widely express my talents for future creations.

But I have always loved gorgeous gemstones and minerals, etc. They are so beautiful. I could never decide which colors of gems that catches my eyes. I am back and ready to give it another try. Can"t really remember what year that I attended The Tucson Gem Show in Arizona. It was then I met, Robert James. I seriously doubt he would remember me. I'd like to also purchase more gemology equipment, if possible

Anyway, I'd love to learn from this forum, meet you guys and expand my creativity. I enjoy making new friends. I stay busy doing something new each day. So if you see me online, stop in to chit chat with me. I could ramble into the night, but I'll save it for another day...
