Hi Max and welcome to the forum.
I had a look at your refractometer and noticed it had a CZ hemicylindar.

That would be resistant to scratching for sure.

I also noticed (correct me if I am misunderstanding), the RI liquid you were offering had an RI of 1.78.

How does that work with a hemicylindar whose RI should be around 2.176?

To the question of Refractic index Liquid

The is a liquid call Monobromonatherline it is highly inflammable and hard to find. And can only be used by some one that has the right knowledge

Gem Refractometer FGR-003 Hard CZ measuring prism. Scale range: 1.35-1.85.Accuracy: ±0.003 Professional optical design. Aluminum alloy table. Internally installed the monochromatic light. There are two ways of inputting the voltage:7v batteries and DC3V direct current supply(AC100-240V).2ml refringent oil(1.78±0.005) with unique design of the bottle(Proprietary technology ZL200620096730.7),It is much safer ,much economical and more convenient

My question was "what is the refractive index of your liquid?"

Lyric, did you buy this refractometer?
If so, what is the RI liquid supplied with it.?

In order to measure gems with an RI higher than 1.80 (plus or minus .01) the RI liquid has to be the same as the RI of the hemicylinder. In the past, the liquids that were available with appropriate RIs (2.15–2.18 for CZ) were far too toxic to be commercially allowable.

How much of an actual demand would there be for a safe fluid in that range? How small a niche market is it?

Well, I was looking at the state of the Art last night, and some of the fluids proposed for RIs higher than 1.9 are utterly insane...Arsenicals, etc., and suspect the only reason someone has not made a serious effort to do better is economic feasability. In short, is the market size large enogh to support an R&D effort? It appears not to be, or someone would have done it.

I think that's the point I was trying to make.
There is NO reasonably safe fluid available with a refractive index high enough to make a CZ hemicylindar commercially viable.
