Hi everybody!!!! I'm new to this website. I love it. It will be great to post and read everybody else's posts. Very informative. I have been involved with gemstones for about three years. My focus is Sapphires. I have a Genie that I use for cabbing. I think we just hit the motherload. Believe it or not, this weekend we uncovered a two ton matrix of sapphires. Maybe about 1,000 pounds of sapphires, one pounders, peebies, and some about thumb size.

I sure would like to know who is in the market for the two ton one. Maybe like a museum?

Anyway, looking forward to reading y'alls posts.

Yes, I will take pictures this weekend. Taking a craddle, harness, to put under it this weekend to get it out of the ground. Then off to the car wash. I will take pictures of it. A wrecker has to be used to carry it because it weighs two ton. Have you ever heard of such a large matrix in the US?

Oh, heavens, can you imagine that. No one will even know what's in the wrecker. It's too heavy for my truck. And even the people at the car wash. What a hoot.

Thank you so much, Barbra. I love this site. And it's so nice to be greeted. I hope to learn a lot from this site, meet a lot of contacts, and get a lot of good information. Thanks for responding.

Claudia

8) hi claudia!! welcome to the forum!!

hope you will post pics of the 2-ton sapphire matrix-and the video, too, because i'm sure it will be on your local news channel!!  gosh, hope y'all don't drive it through a car wash, might possibly get stuck in the wispy whiskers!! probably would be best to take it to the car was which is not a drive through if you know what i mean...

glad to have you!!
