Understanding Fluorescence 2013

Professional Development Course
St Andrews University, Scotland, is hosting a one-day Professional Development Course on Saturday the 31st of August 2013. The Course is part of a series of events associated with the UK Luminescence and ESR meeting and will immediately follow it. Attendees may wish to combine the conference and the course.

The course is targeted at gemmologists, valuers and jewellery professionals and all individuals interested in gems and minerals. This is a unique opportunity to expand your understanding and use of fluorescence in gemmology and other mineral sciences. The conference will include tours of the facilities at the University of St Andrews including the Facility for Earth & Environmental Analysis (FEEA) with its instrumentation for mineral identification, fluorescence, magnetism and electron spin resonance.

Registration should be completed with the form available in the course's first circular, which includes a schedule of the day. Payment should be made via the University's online shop.
