We had Tucson then Vegas (which I had to miss cause no one was available to take care of my dog), so what is the next show not to miss?

I suggest you look into this show.

Take your dog, your jewelry and stones can stay home without a babysitter......

Seriously, the Hong Kong show in September is one to see if you have never been. Sort of Tucson, and JCK rolled into one, but with an incredible cast of international players you won't see in any of the U.S. shows.

Just read the event list and look at the subjects and presenters. Amazing content you won't get at any U.S. show. Pluss HK is a blast to visit.

It was on my list this year but my inconsiderate son decided to have a new grandchild due just at that time.

Tucson and HK September & March are probably the largest international gem shows.

HK June is coming up in 2 weeks, it's the smallest of the 3 HK shows (I don't really count the November show) and is only located in the exhibition and convention centre downtown. Easier to navigate. In march and september the event is split in 2 locations : AWE (Airport) for stones and Convention Centre for finished jewelry.

Munich show in February is becoming a great event as well, and Germany is a good place to visit.
Baselworld is dying, as far as gems and jewelry are concerned, but the new show in Geneva is promising. Not large, but super high-end. If you want to see absolutely crazy stuff, that's the address.
