Hi Friends,
You might think these are Aquamarine, however , they are not.
guess what these stones are.
P.S, no treatment, no color enhancement, just natural cool color.

I have a new guess - aragonite. But if it is - I hope that these stones are going to be set in ring mountings! Hardness is even less than apatite - 3.5-4....

Roger was the 1st who guessed correctly, but I am guessing he enlarged the photo by clicking and saw the hint ;-)
Nuck and Anitame also guessed right.

Well, actually, I did not think to do that until someone else mentioned it. And then I went back an hour or so later and clicked on the photo. But I had already posted my response.

From a gemological point of view, we understand one should never make an gem ID from a photo. But this was a fun exercise anyway.

My guess was based on years of viewing commercial cutting and understanding what one could or should expect. The goods in the photo looked similar to items that I have viewed prior to their being treated, and converted in the customary pink color.
