I found two emeralds with inclusions that I have never seen. They look as they have been drilled right through the middle of the stone.
I wanted to share the photos with you as in all the years I have been working with emeralds I have never encounter such rare inclusions. I have seen emeralds with air and water trapped inside amongst many other fascinating inclusions but this one is quite amazing. There are two crystals with the same inclusions. I call them worm inclusions.

Regards to all,

Gustavo.

Here is another photo. What do you think caused this inclusion. I think it could have been water rushing through the crystal as it was forming, :?:

I was asked to cut the entire parcel of rough. There is no way I am going to cut any of these two specimens.

I doubt I can get a closer photo with my camera. I will see what I can do.

described as screw shaped disclocations following the growth of the crystal
