I made us a small crossword puzzle out of topics we discussed recently:
http://gemologyonline.com/sunday_crossword.html

I would suggest printing the page as writing directly on monitor is not recommended.

Here's a hint, it has iron in it and it's from Pakistan.

Would iron be found in its chemical make-up or as the coloring agent?

ok...ive got that answer but now I know that I do not know Gemca's new avatar. At first glance from the small picture it looks similar to demantoid but that doesn't fit. My next guess was peridot but that doesn't fit with 10 down...so would her avatar be somewhat of an obscure stone?

No, HIS avatar is a rare color of a common, yet costly gem.
