Hi,

I came across a 4 ct + green euclase. It is reasonably clean under a 10 x I would like to know if it is rare in this size, I don't see many stones online. I deal mainly in sapphires and rubies and i don't know much about. any insight on this stone would be a great help.

Thank You.

"Crystals are found worldwide and occur in a range of colors such as colorless or white, blue, green, and yellow (e.g., S.M. Stocklmayer, “A new occurrence of euclase in Western Australia,” Australian Journal of Mineralogy, Vol. 18, No. 2, 2017, pp. 39–44). Gem-quality pink euclase was first reported in 2018 (M.B. Leybov, “Denver 2018: ‘Minerals of Mexico,’” Mineralogical Almanac, Vol. 24, No. 1, pp. 58–63), and this color is considered rare."
This text is from a G&G article and is specifically about a Pink Euclase.

I suppose it is from Colombia? As I have seen green ones from there.
As mentioned above, it comes in different colors and from differenz sources.
Some are really rare (pinks), some not so...
But clean 4 ct+ is a decent size for euclase.

Rare and collectible but the classic super blue is a big part of its appeal, so a green is likely to be priced lower.

its nearly impossible to judge a stones without pics. And even with pics its difficult as most times color in real is different.

Why the late reveal of notable letters and grading after the statement "I don't know much about it."
