Largest Chrome Sphene I ever see!

Have you had it tested?

Although the stone seems to have a nice color, the term "emerald green" is misplaced here.

Almost looks like a huge green Zircon, either way, I'd have someone test it with years of experience, though maybe you do have that, but if you do, then I'd think you'd have an idea how much it's worth?

A Sphene of this size & color is virtually unheard of, as is a green Zircon. I'd really make sure you don't have a simulant, which could be very likely.

Shene is typically very included, so to have a clean large specimen is HIGHLY UNLIKLEY!

You mean one where the fingers aren't green too?

Only 1/5th the size but still large so maybe it isn't as unlikely. This picture looks clean and also mentions it is from Madagascar. I think a lab report would be warranted for such a large and rare gem. Of course I always like more pictures.

AJS has a impeccable reputation. I'd have no problem buying this stone. Now I only need someone else s money to do it. Any takers? :)

The question you should really be asking is, who said it's clean?
