Ahh dendrites. It would be cooler if it was a plant but more likely dendrites. Pretty weird shapes tho.

I guess dendrites dont need to be fractal.patterns then.

It's an odd one. Definitely resembles moss in Indian moss agate, but the clarity and color are suggestive of dyed opal. Very interesting.

Yes its died opal. But was wondering about the thing inside if plant or dendritic. I had it checked. Its for sure died opal n im guessing dendritic unless dendritic can only be in a fractal pattern. Cuz this stuff swirls. Anyways. The article was very helpful.

Couldn't it be the dyeing product that went into tiny cracks of some sort ?

So you see any surfacing cracks Arms, which could be an entry point for dye created dendrites?

Hello. It could be. I think the dye can seep in as well since its hydrophane material. I saw another opal with similar inclusions. The seller said it was plant roots. But i have no idea for sure. It would be cool if it was australian and a plant root cuz that stuff is very old, millions of years old. I think ethiopian opal is only 50,000 years old. But i still am not sure what it is.
