There are some special green garnet coming out from a place nearby Tamatave Madagascar now. The stones are very bright, yellowish green. But some green pcs after cutting looks like demantoid, very strong fire.
I check the specific gravity, something like 3.65

To separate Tsavorite = Grossular from Andradite = here demantoide you need a stronger magnet (neodym) - Demantoide jumps to the magnet, tsavo not.

Alternatively, you can take the RI in spot lecture, it will be within reading range for the tsavorite and over the limit for the demantoid.

I wonder if tsavorite has already be documented for Madagascar ?

Yes, there's a tsavorite garnet deposit in the south of Madagascar, close to the village of Gogogogo. It's well documented.

Thank you. I didn't know.
The color doesn't look quite the same as the classical tsavorites from Tanzania. More Fe maybe.
