Queen of the garnets. Old or new production?

I can't tell from the photo. Is the faceting pentagonal or octagonal?
Close up would be awesome.
Thanks.

In the Russian stones I have 2 that are 1 ct. size and 2 that are under 50 points. Also have a couple small African stones that are nice but yellowish.

That really is a lousy photo taken 15-20 years ago. Next time I open the safe I will try for a better photo. The two larger stones came from Frank Circelli and the smaller ones from Steve Perry Gems. If you go on Steve's site you can see some better photos of the demantoids cutting. Looks like the same pattern as mine. I think Frank's stones are more of a native cut. The horsetails are clearly visible at 10X.

Took a few cell phone photos that might be a little better. At least the horsetail is visible.

Thank you Jason, that is very kind. There are probably a couple people that don't care for my opinions but that's ok. Anyway happy birthday pal.
