I am picturing inclusions using my trinocular microscope. Unfortunately there is some technical imperfection in magnification switching mechanism, caused that some small tiny particles, swarf type, fаlling and accumulating on the inner surface of the lens. When I use stacking of multifocus pictures, that particles live "evidences" as more and bright as higher magnification... So unfortunately many of my pictures are with visual imperfections, but still looks interesting to my eyes...
PS: I am getting new microscope which I hope will be free form such а technical flaw...

The first gem I would like to share here is unusual petalite, originated from Burma. The most of what is unusual in this gem is color, not saturated medium green-yellow under day light, shifting into not saturated light reddish orange under incandescent light. First what visualisation of this color shift reminds is same effect in diaspore.. Pictures has been taken under natural day light (~6000K) and under cool day light (~3000K)
On pictures are visible some inclusions. On the right hand from the center is visible long needle like inclusion. After observation using microscope I found that this лong transparent rhombic cavity with large diagonal is about 5 times longer than the short diagonal. Also several growths on the cavity with hexagonal cross-section аре visible. I don't know about nature of this inclusion.
60x. Transmitted polarized light. Length of view ~ 2.5mm
Another inclusion is visible in upper left part of pear. There is cross-like non-transparent inclusion, not reaching the surface. It has metallic luster to my eyes.

When my wife saw the picture taken under higher magnification, she said - it is alien body included in stone.. Like visible legs, arms, head and even ribs...

I don't know about nature of this inclusion also and can not find any refers nor in Atlas, nor using different web-sources. So any suggestions are welcomed.
A few nice and not very usual looking cordierites - iolites from India with strong aventurescence caused by hematite inclusions.
The last pear shaped stone was not that much included, so I was able to look inside a bit deeper.
Hematite itself, 40x, transmitted light, dark filed:
On the left bottom part of picture is visible some "window" of more transparent area with some crystals in there, so I went even more deep into this "window".
120x, transmitted light, dark filed:
Longish transparent hexagonal crystals are apatite if I am not mistaken with identification, black crystal is pyrrhotite or maybe magnetite, don't know exactly, but think about pyrrhotite more... Large crystal behind black is zircon (again -not sure, it is just my guess).
Demantoid 2.60 cts, origin - Bobrovka river, Nizhni Tagil region, Ural, Russia. Not heated. Picture of stone itself is not mine, I am not able to take such shots.
