Hi erveryone!
I have recently bought a blue-green aquamarine from Shigar (5.5 carat, 12 x10x5.5 mm). The stone has not been treated. The stone has been cut with a "portuguese oval cut". It is slightly included, with a greatest inclusion in one edge (properly covered by the facets).
Here the stone

Under magnification, I found many 2-phase inclusions (I guess)

And hollow tubes (at least, I think so):

The greatest inclusion has brown color and an elongated shape:

I wonder if this image might be a hematite inclusion...
What do you think?
Thank you in advance for your considerations...
Ciao :D

Hi Timur,
you're right...
moderately included would be a more appropriate definition for this aqua.
Ciao :D
