Agreed..... I just dove in and copied a couple pics. There are several videos and pics of this opal ring on the link. Clearly, the poster is enamored with this opal.
Not to (totally) hijack the thread, but I stumbled on this opal ring yesterday on Facebook:

Yes I thought some people might object to a link, though it is obvious it is a google link, and that (I thought) should give you some peace of mind.
I should have explained that there are some videos of this ring, because I believe it is very difficult for a bloody amateur like myself to picture the beauty of an opal in a photo.
Therefore I shot several videos of this ring which you will find in the google photo album where the link will lead to.
An opal can be seen much better when it is moved, don't you agree?
And Barbara is right, I am enarmored with this ring. The reason is simple: It belonged to my mother who passed away 2 months ago.

Opals can be awesome.
Yoiks! I didn't used to understand opalholics, but I fear I am turning into one.

Barbra, was the source of that magnificent orange opal given? Mexico? Ethiopia? Orange "crystal" is found in Oz as well but I haven't seen much of it. And I've never seen one with a body color that saturate. Both posted opals are beauties.
I would put good money on it being Ethiopian. (as a side note, while a Google photos link isn't exactly a security risk, it is a huge pain to view on a mobile browser.)

Well, it took me 45 minutes to find the picture again on FaceBook No information about stones, but I was able to get the name of the designer: Alessio Boschi
Also the surrounding gems? Sapphires? Topaz? Garnets?
