Its supposed to be a Ceylon ruby.

Is there a reason you would not send the stone to a lab (GIA, AGL, AIGS, Gubelin) to determine the nature of these inclusions?

Gia and certificates can be expensive wanted to at least have an idea before sending for certification

It's hard to tell, they kind of look like sirface features more than internal inclusions (literal fingerprints).
