Anyone knows links to free online movies about jewellery, gems, gemology or anything similar? Maybe documentaries or something of a sort? Thanks!

I have a few short movies on line describing the synthetic processes of gemstone manufacture. They are on my WEB site. (non-commercial)

Verneuil Process
http://www.theimage.com/newgems/synthet ... mate1.html

Czochralski Process
http://www.theimage.com/newgems/synthet ... mate2.html

CZ Skull Melting Process
http://www.theimage.com/newgems/synthet ... mate3.html

Hydrothermal Quartz Process
http://www.theimage.com/newgems/synthet ... mate4.html

Look at the bottom of each page for the direct link to the animation.

The animations are in Quicktime format, you have to have it loaded on your PC. (Free from Apples WEB site.) Unfortunately I am a Macintosh person and that's how the are made.

I used the mp4 codec as there are some codecs that will not work in Windows based PCs that are in Quicktime. I know several PC people who have them working, but unfortunately I can't trouble shot on a PC.

Sorry that's about the best I can suggest.
