Good for you Lucy. I will never understand why basic info like this is removed from a course...maybe the Gem-A are trying to get the diploma pass rate above 50%

Thanks Frank - hopefully I'll get a full explanation on my week long practical session. I think its just a case of some of the tutors being better than others - my foundation teacher was amazing!
Im a little worried now hearing the pass rate is below 50% :/

Just make sure you're at the top end of the class. The practical is the worse for distance students since they don't get all that hands on stuff.
If you'd like a scan of the "old notes" stuff on axes and symmetry which contains a nice table defining the essential symmetries then drop me a pm and I'll scan them for you.
