Are green sapphires ever the result of BE heating? Or is it safe to assume that they have only been heated with traditional methods?

Im pretty sure someone has already asked that question but i can't find it.

Hi,
If most of the green sapphires are not the result of any treatment involving the use of additives like beryllium, a strongly green sapphire or bluish green sapphire might still be green after a "beryllium process" whihc was supposed to turn it into a yellow sapphire.
As consequence in some rare cases, you may find some heated green sapphires containing some beryllium but usualy the purpose is not to my knowledge to produce green sapphires.

All the best,
