Post subject:  History of gem treatments in thailand

Hey guys, this is going to be the title of my essay for the GEM-A as well as part of a much larger essay for a university project.....

So i'm looking for reliable articles on treatments in thailand especially detailing times, temps, chemicals, stability and of course detection and finding out which gems (other than corundum) the Thais are treating.

Finally looking for a hook up to a treatment facility or two on my visit to Thailand (10 weeks starting next week), either Bangkok or Chantaburi - I'll be emailing Vincent P shortly

Thank you!!!

I'd look up Dr. John Emmett, Dr. Ulrich Henn and Dr. Henri Hanni.

Check out this:

Coldham, T. (2002) Orange sapphires or just lemons? Australian Gemmologist, Vol. 21, No. 7, pp. 288–293, RWHL*.
