I'm hoping someone will be able to help me with this, as I'm new to synthetic gems... I have some blue hydro quartz (I assume) which is filled with odd wavy inclusions. They almost look wrinkled inside, like when you test jam to see if it's set! I've looked through all the info I have on inclusions, and can't find anything that looks like these. Does anyone have a clue on what these are? They seem pretty uniformly spread throughout the stone, and they are in every piece I have in this colour. I was wondering if it was something relating to the seeding process, or if maybe something just went wrong while it was growing... OR.. is it something else entirely? Like coloured and cut glass of some variety masquerading as synthetic quartz?
I've included some pictures of one of the stones, this one is about 15x10mm. If anyone knows what this might be, I'd be very grateful for any advice!

Does no one have any ideas? Or any advice about where I could go to find out? I'm really hoping to at least figure out what this stone is, whether it's actually hydro quartz or just some kind of glass! I haven't been able to find anything that looks like this, I don't currently have access to any sort of instruments, I'm pretty new to gemology and I don't know where to go next... I'd really appreciate some help!
The features you see are typical for glass. Aren't there also gass bubbles ? But to be 100% sure, I'm afraid you will have to do some tests (polariscope,...).
Touching something with your tongue is a rough test of heat conductivity. A more conductive solid (glass, quartz) will feel cool, while a less conductive solid (eg: plastic) will feel warm.
