Hi all,

This is my first post on this forum.
Can you please help me by sharing your opinion based on the inclusions shown in the pictures below if this sapphire has been more than only heat treated.

First picture seem to be a partially healed liquid plane inclusion

Second, what once was growth tubes or rutile needles

Third, residue in fracture ??

Fourth, same?

Fifth, Christmas tree :)

Thank you,
Cristian

Well...nothing looks diagnostic, or indicative, to me for treatment other than heat. others I am sure will be more well versed than I in this subject. As far as I know, your next step is to send it for more sophisticated testing. Good luck.

you know...looking again at your photo's: especially the corkscrew circular inclusion, it sure looks like those on the GIA online images that were Be diffused, also your color zoning is suspect. The third image also looks similar to the 2003 GIA chart. Sure scares me. I would send it for testing. I certainly wouldn't buy it!
