hi all, first post here. I had a very dark red zircon 5.25ct and one of our friends on this forum told me I can just heat it on my stove to lighten the color. well, it turned out a beautiful pink rose color, however, there seems to be a black patch on one of the facets... is it possible that part of the black stovetop coil burned onto it? I put in ultrasonic, nothing. is there some kind of acid I can use on zircon to see if this black comes off? thanks for your help.

Hi rstrouf.
Your post was not a Forum Announcement.
I've moved it to a more appropriate category.
