Post subject:  Lavender Jade?

Hi guys:

I've been looking online everywhere and couldn't find any detailed info about Lavender Jade pricing, evaluation, treatments...etc

I was wondering if any of you could give me some guidance as to how to differenciate the untreated lavender Jade from the treated ones? for example what color differences, patterns? shades, and hues?

Look at this site where they offer "A" but its just hard for me to believe such intense and uniformed colors reall existed in nature, let me know what you think:

and these of lighter shades:

Thanks so much!

Hi aqua_tc,

Unfortunately i don't know very much about jade though I have admired it for a long time. Thanks for giving these links. There are some captivating pieces on that site.

These pieces do look nice don't they. Despite the site owner's claim, I think most of these pieces may have been Dyed. I've looked at lots green jades all my life, and its really hard to find a real natural A. but once you do, the fake colors just stand out and look so un-natural...

but unfortunately I've had minimal encounters with the lavender kind... most natural lavender types I've seen in person have been a hue rather than an appearent, saturated color... there was one ring i saw online on a sythetic treatment site to show the difference of the natural colour...it looked rather pink with lavender lines running across it...

But thank you for your replies though! :D
