Total sidebar, but the article says "Historically, it is the period from 1837 to 1901, spanning the 64-year reign of Queen Victoria, who remains the longest-reigning monarch in history (though she soon could lose that title to Elizabeth II.)" I assume they must mean only in English history, because Ramses II (aka Ozymandius, king of kings, look on my works ye mighty and despair) lived to ~90 and reigned for 66 years. Back on topic, I've heard schorl cited as a material used in mourning jewelry; is that something you've seen or is that more on the fanciful side? |

No, I personally have not seen schorl incorporated into mourning jewelry. Yes, I have noticed "western" history is rather two dimensional. |
