I routinely encounter jewels which depict flowers.
Wouldn't it be super to actually identify the blossoms and not just describe the piece as floral and foliate:

Well this may not be jewelry, but it has flowers, it is vintage, and I consider it an object d'art.

Looking more closely at the flower bouquet...

Probably obvious that the three flowers at the top are roses. But I'm not sure what is the five petaled flower at the bottom (between the two leaves). One of these days I'll electrify this tube and discover what is the flower's color, so I can use Barbra's website.

Quite right. Leaves are diagnostic.
I found this on my wildflower site:

Yes, Stephen and Barbra, good job.

I thought the leaves looked like violet. But the petals looked a bit thin compared to my reference:

The wildflower violets y'all pulled up match much closer.

I only know because my neighbor's yard is full of 'em.

And I know, because they used to be in MY garden for a million years....now I only cultivate leaves, albeit, very healthy leaves. :(

Same thing happened when I planted grapes, leaves galore.....but I was using them for dolmas successfully.

Not so sure that African violets are true violets. I have wild violets growing in a patch of land at my house that is a bit of what is left of the natural prairie. Not far from here there is an area called Violet Prairie. Western Washington.

You're right. Different genus - Saintpaulia vs. Viola.
