I'm looking to find some more information on piece of jewelry that belonged to my grandmother. It's a gold dragon pin with a lion's head locket, hanging from the pin. On the back of the pin, next to the "14k" mark, there is an eye mark. I'm assuming this is a maker's mark, although I haven't been able to find a record of a jeweler that used that mark.

Any info would and/or direction would be greatly appreciated.

Wow ! This is talismanic for sure. If jewelry can be protective, you must feel very safe when you wear such a pin, with these two beasts as bodyguards ! :D
I find the lion very elegant with its braided mane en each side of the face.
Now, if you can find diamonds between lions' teeth, no wonder that some dentists hunt them in Africa !

I believe the pin and locket were not originally intended to be together.
I suspect the locket is Victorian and the dragon pin a later add on.
I ws not able to identify the "eye" stamp either. The 14k is probably indicative as an American piece.
What sort (if any) marks are on the lion locket?
