The Nelson-Atkins museum of art here in Kansas City recently had a "Treasures of the Roman Empire" exhibit, so of course we had to go! Sorry the pictures aren't so good but cellphone through glass is not a recipe for quality.

Exquisite! I wonder how long it took the jewel artist to design and create the very first piece (the ring)?

Thank you so much for posting these! :D I'd have never known that these pics were taken with your cell phone. They are of an amazing quality,...perhaps that's also due to how well you composed the photos, i think?
