In process of purchasing this and I wanted to check with experts on this piece. Can anyone give me insight into the hallmarks present? I know the eagle head but I think the other is an owl, yet it does not look like owls noted in reference information. Also, the piece is being sold as a necklace/bracelet set, do these actually exist. I love the piece but wanted an expert eye as the seller is not available until a few days from now. Thank you for your help!

The eagle's head hallmark, of course, is commonly seen on French made items which are constructed of a minimum 18k/750 gold. I can't make out the other symbol.
Tell us a little about the piece. It seems to come apart, maybe making 2 bracelets? Was it a marraige or original?

Hi,
The set is being sold (well i've bought but it is still in processing) as a set of necklace that converts to bracelet. The design of both pieces is exact except for size and pearls. Do sets like this exist as originals in your experience?

The sellers appears legitimate based on online reviews and also selection of jewelry they sell. I love the piece but am seeking some expert opinion. I believe the other mark is an owl, but it is different so I am wondering if variants exist of the owl through time.

Thank you,

There definitely is an owl among the referenced french hallmarks, but this one definitely doesn't look like it.
Here is the classical owl I know :

I have never seen such a previous version of this owl.
Here under the title "poinçons de hasard" you will see how the owl used to look like in the 19th century.

Besides, both hallmarks would be redundant.
