File comment: These rainbow Lorikets are all wild birds, but come for breakfast each morning. Tim will remember them with pleasure, they are great to have around

File comment: These green tree frogs live in our toilet cystern, and come and go via a hole cut in the corner. They all come out in the evening, go off partying all night, and come home at dawn. The easter snake got them unfortunately, so we're hoping a new lot colonise this coming summer.

Thanks for the photo , Digginblue Did you sympathize with this superb Teddy ? ...
Nahh, not the best of ideas, these things can get big.
One time I was exploring old trails used to get the wood out of the forest. Often these will reach very far. I was alone in my jeep in the middle of nowhere with every and all precautions taken.
At one point the vegetation had grown 3 feet tall over the trail, and there was a long downhill section. So I parked the jeep and went on foot to assess the terrain before I drive there. I walk up to the end of the first part of the descent just to get a better view and be very safe.
Then I look up and it takes me a second to understand what I'm seeing. It was the rear end of a huge black bear that was starting to run away from me fortunately. He was not even 20 feet away from me.
These things can be as quick as horses and in an instant he was 200 feet away at the bottom of the slope then he stopped suddenly, turned to have another look at me.
I slowly reached for my camera but he disappeared in the woods.
It is only in those moments that I really feel alive and happy.
Another cute little friend, this is a young one. I was paying attention to his mother, she did not care for me she was too busy fixing her dam. And then I noticed this little curious fellow making 8 figures in the water, coming but a few feet away from me. I observed him for 15 minutes before moving on

Hi Diggingblue and Qld Barry !
Exciting moments ! The nature is always different , always splendid ... , sometimes cruel ... it's often more wise than us .
We meet also this cruel beauty in cities : human animals can be more dangerous and unpredictable than the wild ones !! And we don't pay attention to them , because they seem all the same !
Continue sending us your amazing pictures and your interesting reportages , we enjoy them
♥

Thanks, I sure will share more. I like to take pictures and while I don't really have any technique nor quality equipment, I often manage to find myself at the right place at the right time.
Same trail
Spring sunset
Same spot half an hour later
A rather unusual but friendly gathering
There was a few dozen of these fast and agile swallows buzzing around me, flying very low
I like the landscapes ... What place in Canada ? The gathering doesn't seem to bee friendly ! What are preparing the three masked raccoons ? ...
The star of the show is your tenebrous prince(ss) . One of our feline companions , Bethsabée , looked like him a lot !
Northern Quebec. There was 3 raccoons, the mom and her 2 young. They did not mind for the couple of fox.
My little guy is a 5 yo American Short hair and he is deep black meaning even his paws are all black. He's a indoor cat but he still has his claws. I take very good care of him. We share a strong bond. I enjoy studying his body language and trying to decipher him. I can make him purr just by looking at him the right way. He figured very quickly how to play fetch.

Love black cats ! Just be sure he doesn't get out at this time of the year!! Actually, that goes for all cats--the days just before Halloween can be dangerous for them .
